The community of clinicians, caretakers, social workers, and volunteers that has risen in response to the AIDS epidemic is as startlingly diverse as it is devoted to the people it serves. These are the faces of the people who understand that, for every way you can die from AIDS, there are a thousand better ways to live with it. These are the faces I call faces of hope... hope in the age of AIDS.
