Empathetic Art & Technology
Designed, programmed, and engineered an interactive device called "Cry Baby". The piece is designed to provoke an empathetic response in the viewer. It is built using an ultrasound range sensor, a piezo buzzer, and BASIC Stamp microcontroller. The piece was featured in an exhibition of interactive art at the Ellis Gallery at Carnegie Mellon.
